Las funciones de la contraloria general de la republica en materia de fiscalizacion ambiental con especial referencia a la toma de razon ambiental

Abstract

Environmental supervising functions of the Republic’s General Comptroller’s Office are reviewed, especially in terms of the regulatory frame stipulated in the Environmental General Bases Law, Nº 19,300, as regards the constitutional and legislative review of the law. Before addressing the above, some general references are made to the various functions of the Comptroller’s Office and to its environmental supervising policies, including in situ supervising work. It is concluded that, up to date, after 10 years the Environmental General Bases Law was put into effect, the Comptroller’s Office has actively participated in the interpretation, applicability, and supervising of environmental affairs.
