About the Journal
Scope
Pro Jure Revista de Derecho de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso publishes original works, preferably on Chilean Law and Latin American Law, although it also accepts manuscripts on European Law, International Law, Canonical Law and Juridical and Political Philosophy or Political Theory.
The Journal does not publish student work or purely sociological, historical or philosophical or political contingent content; nor if they are of mere disclosure, consist of lectures or conference not reworked in the form of articles, offer a trial basis («Reflections», «comments», «considerations», «notes», etc.), lack of bibliographic references or are lege ferenda propositions.
The Journal is aimed at a readership of researchers in legal sciences, both professional and students. It also aspires to influence the professional opinions of judges, lawyers and, in general, anyone who is called upon to apply the Law.
Through Pro Jure Revista de Derecho we seek to contribute to the review and progress of the current law, as well as to academic dialog, by means of rigorous, disinterested and impartial analysis.
